COMPLEX DIAGNOSTICS

The diagnostics is carried out with focus on psychological, medical and pedagogical aspects by high qualified specialists, teachers, speech therapists, neurologists. The main purpose is to help to balance to the greatest possible extent the development of each child.

Tasks of complex diagnostics:

DEEP DIAGNOSTICS OF WRITTEN AND ORAL SPEECH

Better to prevent the problem in advance
than to treat it for a long time later.

Practice of teachers and doctors suggests that over the last years the number of children who have cardiovascular or microvascular injuries to the brain during pregnancy and childbirth has sharply increased; it leads to the so-called «minimal brain dysfunction» (MBD). The consequence was the increase of neurological and somatic and speech pathologies of children. Children in the vast majority of cases are weakened, emotionally unstable, hyperactive, with damaged memory and disorder of attention.

«...depending on different mechanisms and localization of brain damages, a complex structure of the speech activity can "break" in the various segments and lead to different defects of speech» (A.R. Luria, 1973).

This trend has increased the number of children, who are unable to acquire usual educational programs and who experience learning difficulties which has led to minor symptoms - neurosis, disadaptation, deviant behavior. Children with speech disorders have complexes of disorders:

Based on the attained results of diagnostics speech therapist carries out (written survey if needed) a detailed report describing the level of child's nonverbal and verbal mental functions development, psychic functions and their correspondence with age-specific norms, stating presence or absence of speech pathology.

FORMAT OF DIAGNOSTICS

The examination is performed on an individual mode in the way of an entertaining game during the conversation with a child and parents in 1 or 2 sessions for preschoolers; 2-4 sessions for elementary school age children (90 minutes per session)
